To Convert Viewers to Buyers is the Mantra!
An ongoing theme for the two keynote speakers was that it is essential to convert viewers into buyers. To ease the process for the buyer it is essential that the payment solution is easy and intuitive to navigate.

Mr. El-Husseini talked about payment solutions for online trading, including that you shouls always opt for the solution that is responsive and thus applies for all types of devices (pc, tablets, smartphones). As an e-merchant you must also be aware that the preferred payment method here in the UAE and its neighbouring countries is still by cash.In fact, as many as 60 percent prefer cash to online payment in the UAE, depending on your target group. So this makes it very clear that a reduction of friction and hassle when it comes to online payment is an all important parameter to succeed in the online business.

Our second keynote speaker, Mr. Bertelsen, spoke to us about how he and his partners developed the online shop Among other subjects he talked about the process to establish supplier agreements, distribution and logistics concepts and how they decided on their marketing strategy.

The message was clear; a user-friendly and intuitive website weighs more than anything else in getting the sale and creating loyal customers.
